Gender Equality Approach
The project is firmly rooted in a human rights-based and gender-sensitive approach. This means:
- Ensuring equal access to trainings, tools, and information for women and men
- Promoting non-discrimination in participation, leadership, and benefits
- Supporting women’s ownership, control and use of resources, including land and technology
- Encouraging women’s involvement in decision-making and in community-level initiatives
This is directly linked to SDG 5 and to the broader goal of empowering women in rural areas.
